Join Newsworks and our panellists on Thursday 3 July at 93 Feet East for a celebration of how fashion can be a force for empowerment and self-confidence
Cargo pants, flares, graphic tees — we can’t get enough of a trend. But how can we incorporate these into wardrobes that make us feel our best selves?
Join the catwalk at 11am on our final day at MAD//FEST, where confidence is the hottest look this summer. Host Sinead McIntyre (editor-in-chief, The Sun’s ‘Fabulous’ magazine) and panellists Frankie Bridge (singer, TV personality and creator of ‘#FrankiesFaves’), Ayishat Akanbi (stylist for celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Wizkid and Rod Stewart) and Joe Bromley (fashion editor, The Standard) will discuss how to look good and feel fabulous.
It won’t just be our panellists sharing their style secrets. We’ve given three agency fashionistas £150 to put together a high street outfit that makes them feel on top of their game. The one that steals the hearts of our voting audience will win another fashion shopping spree on us!
Then at 12:20pm, head over to the main Hexagon Stage to catch Newsworks research and insight director Heather Dansie play ‘You Think. Youth Think.’ with an unsuspecting MAD//FEST audience. If you reckon you’ve got a handle on what young people think about news, Heather might just have a surprise up her sleeve.
