Newsworks tracks its carbon emissions across scope 1,2&3 with the help of carbon specialists ZeroBees.
Newsworks’ identifiable environmental impact was 2.47 Tonnes of C02E tonnes of Greenhouse emissions in 2025.
This is down from our 2023 figure measured by Green Element of 7.67.
Our aim is to continue our sustainable behaviour and maintain and further reduce our low footprint by 90% by 2050.
Some of our practices that we adhere to minimise our emissions include:
- Use of public transport when commuting and travelling as a business
- Minimising business travel where possible
- 100% green energy within our building, and encouraging employees working from home to choose green power
- Purchasing long lifespan and second-hand electronic office supply equipment whenever possible
