In a session chaired by commentator, author and Women in Journalism deputy chair Genelle Aldred, the titans of political punditry return to give their takes on a whirlwind summer in British politics
With a new occupant in Number 10 starting work on one of the most daunting in-trays in decades, the Mirror’s associate editor Kevin Maguire and the Daily Mail’s columnist and contributing editor Andrew Pierce will debate, dissect and disagree on a turbulent and dramatic past few months in British political history.
The pair — who also gave their perspectives on the big headlines at Newsworks’ Festival of News event in June — will discuss Boris Johnson’s legacy, where Liz Truss’s new government goes from here, Labour’s fortunes in the next election, as well as some quickfire political predictions for the years ahead.
The event will take place during Advertising Week Europe’s ‘Future Finders’ breakfast event, taking place at Ronnie Scott’s in London on Wednesday 14 September.
