Evening Standard head of audio David Marsland and Metro podcast host Jess Austin will join The Media Leader’s Ella Sagar to discuss the editorial and commercial opportunities in news brand podcasts and what lies in store for the future
With podcasts now an established medium and reaching a total UK audience of 19 million, news brands are at the forefront of podcast production across a broad range of topics — from news and current affairs to investigations, sport and culture.
In Newsworks’ session at Adwanted’s Future of Media event in London, a panel of news brand podcast experts will discuss how and why the medium’s storytelling power engages new and existing audiences for publishers, as well as what opportunities there are for advertisers.
