The arrangement is effective from Monday 4 November, endorsing the group’s capability in the evolving publishing media landscape
For both parties, the deal was a natural development. Media Concierge had represented the Evening Standard in Manchester and Scotland since 2020, delivering consistency and growth through its commitment to multiplatform solutions pitching for revenue development, creativity, accountability and ROI in the service it provides.
“It is an honour to be involved in the next chapter of this historic 197-year-old publication that’s a national title for our capital,” said Scott Gill, Media Concierge managing director. “We’re very pleased that our long-term relationship with The Standard team, alongside successful partnerships with our 28 strong blue-chip publisher portfolio, has made us a trusted option in this crucial phase for The London Standard.”
Albert Read, executive chairman for The Standard, said: “It’s good to be expanding the relationship we have with Media Concierge into all agency markets.
“Media Concierge have proven themselves to be great collaborators, making a difference, selling multi-platform solutions, and becoming a seamless extension of the team.”
“We are thrilled that our existing relationship with The London Standard has flourished over the past three years to culminate in this appointment — reflecting the trust and confidence between the teams and the billings growth already delivered together,” added Scott Gill.
