Women in Journalism’s fundraising event for female journalists in Afghanistan has now been postponed until the summer
With a number of journalists going to Ukraine to cover the crisis, Women in Journalism has postponed its ‘Love and Solidarity for the 700’ fundraising event until the summer.
However, there will be a special online event on Monday 7 March, the eve of International Women’s Day, to pay tribute to female journalists still in Afghanistan.
The online event, via Zoom at 7pm, will include discussions and readings in solidarity with and support for these women.
