The news brand’s definitive weekly guide to the world of art, books and entertainment will launch a weekly YouTube show starting Friday 15 October
Bringing viewers everything they love about Sunday’s print magazine, Friday’s ‘Culture Show’ will showcase the biggest names in television, cinema, theatre and music. It will also have reviews and previews for going out and staying in and insight features on the UK cultural scene.
Hosted by Miquita Oliver and Grant Tucker, the first episode will feature David Baddiel’s social media-inspired nationwide tour, a behind-the-scenes at Frieze Festival and TV critic Camilla Long’s what to watch and what to serve.
News UK Broadcasting and The Sunday Times commissioned the media production house whynow to create the show.
Tim Levell, commissioning executive and Times Radio programme director, commented on the launch, saying: “The Times and The Sunday Times are renowned for their trusted, quality journalism.
“Times Radio, and hugely successful podcasts like Stories of our times, have created new and much-loved audio opportunities for existing and new audiences to get closer to the brands. This partnership with whynow provides a new and innovative way for culture-lovers to engage.”
The Sunday Times Culture Show will be available every Friday at 2pm on YouTube and on The Times and The Sunday Times website.
