To celebrate Oasis’s reunion gig at Wembley, The Standard has released a collector’s edition poster front page today with an unmissable print partnership inside
Burger King has taken the coveted inside front and back covers, nodding to the Gallagher brothers’ famously stormy relationship with the copy: “More beef than those two.”
The special edition will also feature in on-street activation in Wembley on Friday. Vendors will don co-branded Burger King x The Standard bucket hats as they hand out the papers, bringing bold print and street-level energy right into fans’ hands.
Dan Locke, chief commercial content officer at The Standard, said: “This campaign is proof that great creative, reactive thinking and print can collide to make real cultural noise.
“With a brand like Burger King, a moment like Oasis at Wembley and the city’s streets as our stage, this is exactly the kind of agile partnership The Standard was made for.”
The Burger King campaign, planned by Walk-In Media with creative delivered by BBH, showcases the power of The Standard’s print innovation — using its strong commuter footprint, cultural capital and ability to act fast to deliver unmissable brand moments.
