Riley will start her new role on Monday 14 July, the news brand announces
She brings a wealth of experience in digital media, having most recently served as global managing director at Refinery29. She spent nine years there expanding the business, driving audience growth and commercial capability. She has also previously held strategic roles at i-D magazine and Red Bull.

Executive chairman Albert Read says: “Tamar’s appointment comes at an inflection point in The Standard’s journey.
