Inspired by the metaphor of magic, the Guardian’s 28th year as official media partner at the iconic festival celebrates the power of free-thinking and independent journalism
Throughout the weekend, the Guardian will host three Guardian Live events at The Astrolabe:
- Friday 27 June: Bimini joins Zoe Williams for a wide-ranging discussion on identity, creativity and cultural transformation.
- Saturday 28 June: Magician and storyteller Steven Frayne speaks with Zoe Williams about his extraordinary journey, resilience, and redefining the art of magic.
- Sunday 29 June: Indie legends Peter Doherty and Carl Barât of The Libertines sit down with Miranda Sawyer to reflect on their enduring legacy, creative chemistry, and the realities of life in the spotlight.
Magician and storyteller Steven Frayne, formerly known as Dynamo, will also perform live street magic outside the Guardian hub on Friday 27 June. The hub is listed in the Glastonbury app.
In the app, the Guardian will also share genre guides and daily picks curated by its music editors, highlighting must-watch sets and offering thoughtful alternatives to the biggest names.
