Newsworks has teamed up with some of the industry’s biggest names to promote the very best of British advertising.
As part of a new partnership between the industry and the Department for International Trade, Newsworks has joined forces with the Advertising Association, Channel 4, M&C Saatchi, Framestone, London & Partners and Clear Channel, to make a big splash at Cannes Lions this year.
We head to Cannes Lions with the aim of promoting and showcasing the UK’s world class creativity and positioning the UK as a strong exporter of advertising services. Advertising is a top trade priority, as the UK Advertising Exports Report 2019 revealed that trade in advertising services reached £6.9 billion in 2017 (an 18% increase on the 2016 figure).
The festival will provide an opportunity to drum up support for the news industry and its contribution to the world of advertising, by showing how newsbrands are working together to underpin, support and champion creativity.
