News publishers had a successful night at the 20th edition of the awards, winning six awards and three highly commended
Taking place at an in-person ceremony at Old Billingsgate in London on Wednesday night, the awards honoured those who “work so hard to inspire creativity and drive industry standards forward”.
News brands were recognised for their achievements in the following categories:
- Advertising Operations Team of the Year (Telegraph Media Group, winner)
- Audience Development Team of the Year (The Sun, News UK, winner)
- Best Publisher-led Social Good Initiative or Campaign (Reach, winner)
- Best Research/Insight Project (The Independent, winner)
- Best Use of Data (The Independent, winner; News UK, highly commended)
- Best Use of Video (Reach, highly commended)
- Best Online Brand, Consumer (The Independent, highly commended)
- Best Digital Consumer Publishing Company 2022 (The Independent, winner)
