The publisher announced Williams, executive director, advertising, has been promoted to the new role with immediate effect
Williams will be responsible for all UK advertising revenue across the business, driving better integration and alignment across dmg media’s print and digital platforms.
He will continue to retain his current responsibilities for client relationships, partnerships, and overall digital direct for MailOnline and Metro.co.uk.
Grant Woodthorpe, executive director, investment, will carry on working alongside Williams, and continue to be responsible for maximising revenue across all Mail Metro Media print titles.
Williams was named as one of the UK’s top 10 commercial chiefs by Campaign in 2021 and was recently shortlisted as one of five nominees for Media Leader of the Year- Media Owner, at Mediatel’s Media Leaders Awards.
