1. 30 marathons in 30 days
Reality star Spencer Matthews took part in an epic challenge, completing 30 marathons across the Jordanian desert over 30 consecutive days and raising more than £500,000 for Global’s Make Some Noise charity.
Matthews opens up in an interview on the Mirror’s ‘Invite only’ podcast, revealing what kept him going and how his family supported him throughout.
He also spoke about the extreme lengths he undertook to train for his marathon running challenge, which saw him break a Guinness World Record.
2. The end of the road for the famous trio
After more than two decades, motor stars Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson and James May have ended their onscreen partnership to focus on solo projects, the Express shares. The trio bid farewell after the final episode of their Amazon Prime show, The Grand Tour. 22 years ago, the trio were catapulted to fame for their joint love of motoring and close friendship on the TV show Top Gear.
Hammond appeared on ITV’s This Morning to promote the final season, titled One for the Road. He reflected on the end of their journey, stating the show ends their partnership “on our own terms”.
3. Experts by decade
Daily Mail’s YouTube series ‘Experts By Decade’ dives into how the role of a flight attendant has changed in the 70s, 80s, 90s and up to the present day.
Air travel has undergone a dramatic transformation. 5. A message from the Princess of Wales
The Princess of Wales has completed her cancer treatment and will ‘undertake light engagements’ until the end of the year. The Independent shared the heartfelt video to its TikTok platform, showing visuals of the royal alongside her family in the countryside.
