2. Rewarding Raye
Metro reports on Raye’s magical night at the Brits. She made Brit Awards history after securing six out of seven awards she was nominated for, the most by an artist in a single year. She also became the first woman to win songwriter of the year, Beating other artist milestones such as Adele, Harry Styles and Blur who have all taken home four awards in one evening.
The star wrapped up her triumphant sweep of the night with her single ‘My 21st Century Blue’s’ being named album of the year, after also bagging artist of the year, best new artist and best R&B act.
3. Remembering the Hairy Biker
Well known TV chef, British icon and one half of the Hairy Bikers Dave Myers sadly died aged 66, following a battle with cancer. This week, The Guardian’s podcast ‘Grace Dent’s Comfort food’ celebrates Myers’ life, reuploading an episode from January 2022. In his interview, he tells Dent about losing his hair at a young age, his surprising years as a makeup artist, plus all the comfort foods that have seen him through it all.

International Women’s Day is celebrated globally on 8 March, highlighting the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. Observed since the early 1900s, it’s a day to acknowledge the progress made towards gender equality and reflect on the ongoing challenges women face today.
