The Newsworks Speakeasy opens its doors at 93 Feet East on Tuesday 1 July with two unmissable panels from the worlds of sport and dating
After opening with a calming morning coffee and music from pianist Karim Kamar, the Speakeasy will transform into a studio for an exclusive live podcast recording of the Daily Mail’s ‘Life of Bryony’.
Lifestyle and mental health columnist and podcast host Bryony Gordon will sit down with sporting legend Gareth Thomas, the first Welsh rugby union player to make 100 test match appearances for his country. They’ll talk about his career on the pitch, his activism around HIV and LGBT+ inclusion and the importance of positive male role models for the next generation.
There will be limited space at this session, so make sure you arrive in plenty of time to make sure you get a spot.
Later on, grab a cocktail, pull up a chair and settle down for an hour of dating disasters and bedroom mishaps with our three seasoned relationship experts.
Drawing on their experiences helping Britain’s singletons find love, host Claire Eaton-Rutter and panellists Rylan Clark (‘Dating Naked UK’), Anna Williamson (‘Celebs Go Dating’) and Sally Land (The Sun’s ‘Dear Deidre’ agony aunt) will explore the often weird and sometimes wonderful world of sex and dating.
If you would like to join the Newsworks Speakeasy at MAD//FEST but don’t have a ticket, you can apply for one of our very limited golden tickets here. If you’d like more information, please get in touch.
