Ahead of the British Olympic Association and the British Paralympic Association announced a five-year partnership with British Gas. The partnership will power the communities behind the athletes, in the lead up to Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games and beyond.
Diver Tom Daley, one of the main sport stars of the GB team, confirmed the Paris 2024 Games were his last. The 30–year–old retired from competitive diving after becoming the most successful diver in British Olympic history, winning four world championships, five European championships and four golds at the Commonwealth Games.
In a clever tactical ad placement in the Metro, British Gas honoured Daley hanging up his trunks and showcased the support from the nation.
