In an emotional tribute, the front page of the Daily Mirror today (Thursday) featured the faces of 182 frontline workers who have lost their lives during the pandemic.
The total death toll for NHS workers and carers now stands at an estimated 400 and in addition to that number, there are countless bus drivers, supermarket workers and teachers who have lost their lives to Covid-19.

This week marks the 72nd birthday of the NHS and Sunday will play host to a final round of applause to thank the NHS.
To mark the occasion, public buildings across the country like the Shard and Blackpool Tower will turn blue and the television networks will break away from their schedules.
