The campaign hopes G7 leaders will ‘Crack the crises’ we face.
In yesterday’s edition of The Mirror, the news brand and Save the Children asked readers to join Britain’s best-known charities in a campaign asking global leaders to ‘Crack the crises’ we face.
After a difficult year for many, the post-pandemic future will be decided by the G7 leaders who will meet in Cornwall in the next two weeks. From people’s health to the environment, the world’s key world leaders will be deciding the fate of many different parts of our lives.
Running up to the meeting, The Mirror is asking readers to take part in a #Waveofhope to demonstrate to world leaders at the G7, the importance of tackling topics such as injustice, Covid-19, climate change and nature loss and calling on the UK government to play a leading role to help build a fairer and greener world.
You can join the campaign by scanning the QR code, adding your support to the Wave of Hope and colouring in the pictures from the pull-out, drawn by Britain’s most famous characters, and hanging them up in your window.
