On Thursday 9 June, the much-revered Kevin Maguire and Andrew Pierce will discuss and (possibly) disagree on the biggest scandals, fallouts and downfalls of our time
Leading the discussion alongside the Daily Mail’s Pierce and the Daily Mirror’s Maguire will be journalist and broadcaster Julia Hartley-Brewer, host of TalkTV and TalkRadio’s weekday breakfast show and columnist for The Telegraph, The Sun and the Spectator.
The panel will dive into the biggest news stories gripping the nation, discussing everything from Downing Street lockdown parties to local elections. Also up for debate is Keir Starmer’s time as Labour leader as well as the uncertain future in store for the royal family as we emerge from a long weekend of Jubilee celebrations.
Now well-established as a columnist and consultant editor of the Daily Mail, Pierce was previously assistant editor at The Telegraph and The Times. He is a regular fixture as a broadcasting political pundit, with a radio show on LBC and regular appearances on Good Morning Britain and Sky News alongside Maguire.
Once its political editor, Maguire is now the Daily Mirror’s associate editor as well as a columnist for the New Statesman. He also appears regularly on TV, often discussing the headlines with Pierce on Sky News and Good Morning Britain. Maguire has previously worked for the Guardian and The Telegraph.
