Entrants have the chance to win £25,000 to launch their business, alongside mentoring, business insurance from AXA, and profiling content across The Standard
With micro-SMEs accounting for 95% of private sector businesses in the UK — and a third based in London and the South East — the campaign taps into The Standard’s authority as the voice of London, with a national reach of millions. It reflects a shared ambition to support and champion the next generation of business founders, while strengthening AXA’s position as the insurer of choice from launch through to growth and scale.
Planned by Wavemaker, the campaign includes a custom content and competition entry channel on standard.co.uk, plus talent-fronted video, audio, social, print and digital content, and a cover-wrap on The London Standard.
Entries are now open until 21 June, with the competition culminating in a networking and awards event on 10 September, where this year’s winners will be announced.
