According to The Independent, the Caen Hill Countryside Centre in Devizes, Wiltshire is a charity that helps young and vulnerable people with placements on the farm to develop skills. A volunteer named Chris discovered by mistake that a group of donkeys named Dolce, Muffin, Edward, Eli and Nutmeg enjoy a tasty slice of toast when Eli came over and stole it out of his hands. Now, they often share breakfast together at sunrise.
2. Hollywood handshake
Participation officer Tasha Stones has been named The Great British Bake Off’s first deaf contestant, with the judges taking it upon themselves to learn sign language in order to communicate with her. She joins

The Independent shared Stones’ fondest childhood baking memory, which involves savouring the sugar icing from fairy cakes made with her mum and grandma. In secondary school, she started baking for friends and received encouragement from her food technology teacher to pursue it as a hobby. She uses baking as a way of exploring creative expression and often tackling challenging designs.
3. “Keep dancing!”
The launch of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ was broadcasted, the show featured the returning champion Hamza Yassin and his professional partner Jowita Przystał taking to the dancefloor and singer Jessie Ware as the special guest.

The Times’ TikTok channel explored how London fashion week hosted Vogue World, the fashion magazine’s arts and culture spectacle. It took place at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London, with a theatrical West End production embracing the best of British culture and fashion. It featured a star-studded guest line-up including Stormzy, Kate Moss and Sienna Miller.
5. Awards night
Davina McCall, Anthony Joshua and James Corden were among the celebrities who attended The Sun’s Who Cares Wins awards, now in its sixth year.
The annual event aims to shine the spotlight on the selfless healthcare workers and volunteers who dedicate their lives to helping others.
The awards were all the more special as the NHS celebrated its 75th anniversary.
Joshua who was a judge at this year’s show said: “We have all needed the NHS at some point in our lives. It’s a national treasure and I don’t know where we would be without the people who keep it running day in, day out.
“Every single person who works in the health service is a champion in my eyes.”
