Whether you’re hungry for tasty treats or the latest goings on in SW1, there’s plenty to sink your teeth into on Wednesday 2 July at the Newsworks Speakeasy in 93 Feet East
A year ago on the very same Speakeasy stage, we learnt the guiltiest pleasure of our food and drink connoisseurs is chicken wings and wine. Well, their wish is our command.
Join Grace Dent (Guardian food journalist and MasterChef host), Rob Buckhaven (Metro drinks editor), Jimi Famurewa (writer, broadcaster and MasterChef guest judge) and panel host Homam Ayaso (head of Tasty UK) as they share their favourite treats with our hungry Newsworks Speakeasy audience.
Attendees will get to try this summer’s tastiest wines, all while they get their fingers mucky with some delicious wings to try.
Later in the afternoon, two teams of seasoned news brand hacks will join comedian Catherine Bohart in our politics panel show, ‘Have I Got Newsworks for You’.
Spilling all the gossip from Westminster and beyond are daytime TV double act Kevin Maguire (associate editor, Mirror) and Andrew Pierce (executive editor, Daily Mail), plus two masters of the political scoop, Camilla Tominey (executive editor, The Telegraph) and Steph Cockcroft (news editor, The Independent). Which duo will come out top?
