The Journalists’ Charity has launched an online auction to help raise funds to support journalists in need.
The auction – which can be accessed here – includes a host of items ranging from a drive in a £3.3m vintage ’James Bond’ Aston Martin, champagne from Harrods, a meal for two at the Ivy Club and a chef’s table dining experience with multi-award-winning John Quigly.
The charity has been busier than ever this year in assisting journalists in need during the pandemic. Last month, the Society of Editors reported how the charity had been instrumental in helping 15 journalists who were in danger of losing their homes without support.
