A huge year of sport continues this weekend with the start of the Women’s Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. The Telegraph’s preview pullout gives readers the lowdown on the favourites, the underdogs and the must-watch action from the tournament
A performance partner of the English team, Honda also backs the Red Roses for glory throughout the supplement, tweaking its famous ‘Power of Dreams’ slogan to highlight the ‘power of team’.
The partnership also sees the creation of The Telegraph Honda Rugby Legacy Fund, an initiative looking to grow women’s rugby across the country by offering investment to 15 girls clubs to develop their programmes.
Two of those 15 will win international tickets and one will win the chance to attend a special girls rugby training camp. The prizes will be chosen by a panel including Telegraph columnist and former England international Maggie Alphonsi.
Fans will be able to follow all of the action from New Zealand via The Telegraph’s dedicated World Cup hub.
