The winners of The Sun’s Who Cares Wins Health Awards 2023 were revealed at a star-studded ceremony at London’s Roundhouse
The awards, sponsored by The National Lottery and in partnership with NHS Charities Together, honour those across the health and social care sector who go above and beyond for their patients or causes.
Hosted by Davina McCall and attended by prime minister Rishi Sunak and leader of the opposition, Sir Keir Starmer, some of Britain’s best-loved charity campaigners and famous faces were on hand to present awards. Special guests included James Corden, Anthony Joshua, Emily Atack, Gary Lineker, Katherine Ryan and Bear Grylls.
Prime minister Rishi Sunak said: “It’s a privilege to be here at The Sun’s Who Cares Wins Awards celebrating our healthcare heroes, and the amazing things you do every day: Saving lives, caring for the sick, protecting our nation’s health.
“You put your hearts and souls into your work and coming from an NHS family I know what that takes. Your dedication and commitment to public service is inspiring.”
