From the rise in the clothes rental market to what’s hot in supermarket fashion, animal prints to platforms and how to reboot your accessories,The Mail on Sunday’s YOU magazine publishes its biggest Fashion Issue in six years this weekend, with its robust advertising revenue bucking industry trends.
The bumper Fashion Issue featuring the latest trends for the new season has 84 pages, including 23 pages of advertising.
The magazine features Rhea Norwood, star of Netflix’s global smash-hit Heartstopper, wearing Armani, on its cover, as well as dancers from the English National Ballet in Chanel, Dior, Michael Kors Collection and more inside.
Following a successful promotional event in the Spring to encourage new fashion and beauty advertisers, YOU’s advertising revenue for its September Fashion Issue has almost doubled since last year’s edition. New brands featured in YOU’s Fashion Issue include Hobbs, Nobody’s Child, Victoria’s Secret, Sainsbury’s Tu, L’Oreal, Clarins and Elizabeth Arden.
“More brands are realising that their customers are our older readers, ones who have deeper pockets than younger consumers,’ said YOU magazine’s editor Jackie Annesley.
