A fixture for prospective students for decades, the news brands’ guides offer the latest league tables and information for UK universities, as well as advice on how to choose universities, look after mental health and balance student budgets
The latest guides feature league tables ranking universities on a number of criteria, including student satisfaction scores, course retention rates and prospects for graduates. Both guides also contain league tables ranking universities by subject area.
Rachel Hall, editor of the Guardian University Guide, said: “With a cost-of-living crisis, higher fees and disruption from industrial action, prospective students need trustworthy advice on where to study more than ever.
“We are pleased to be publishing the latest Guardian University Guide, which students and families can use to make informed decisions about their choices, and staff in schools and universities can consult and share during the year ahead.”
The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide editor Helen Davies commented: “Any prospective student, parent or care needs to think hard about whether university is the right choice, and then where to study and what subject.
“I hope this guide — our 30th edition — will help you to start on that path.”
