Each year, the Advertising Association looks for the very best young creative talent to compete on behalf of the UK in the Global Young Lions competition.
12 winners from the UK competition will then have the chance to compete in the worldwide competition in Cannes this June, plus take advantage of a full week’s festival pass and accommodation.
There are six competitions in all, including for the news brand formats of ‘digital’ and ‘print’. Participants must enter as a team of two and partners do not have to be employed at the same company to take part. They must be aged between 18 and 30 on 26 June 2026.
Registered teams will have between 27 February and 2 March to complete the brief, with the winners being notified in mid-March. Those teams will take part in the Global Young Lions competition on 22–26 June.
