Newsworks is excited to host our very own specially created Speakeasy Bar in Brick Lane’s iconic 93 Feet East from 4-6 July, showcasing the best of news brands’ culture journalism
Attendees will enjoy three lunchtime sessions over the week, giving expert insights into the latest trends in sustainable fashion, delicious tasters and tipples, and the music stars of tomorrow.
Day one
At lunchtime on Tuesday 4 July, a line-up of top stylists and fashion journalists will explore the latest preloved and vintage trends.
The audience will also be able to vote on their favourite get-up as our models — from across the media industry — strut their stuff on the catwalk (for your chance to take part and win up to £500 in preloved fashion vouchers, click here).
The session will be followed by the first of our sundowners from 4pm, where attendees can kick back to relaxing beats and cool cocktails while putting our stylists’ advice into practice at our thrift shop.
Day two
On Wednesday 5 July, lunch will be served at the recommendation of our top food and drink journalists. The special sampling experience will take attendees on an interactive tour of the tastiest food trends, washed down with a top tipple or two.
Later on, our resident mixologist will be putting together some signature cocktails at our sundowner session from 4pm.
Day three
We wrap up our sessions on Thursday 6 July with a sit-down between a top music journalist and one of the UK’s most hotly anticipated young musicians, talking about music, life and the artists that inspire them. They will then play us out with an exclusive and intimate 20-minute acoustic set.
