41 million readers access news brand content every week with 26 million reading daily, the latest PAMCo data shows
Meanwhile, 19 million people now access national news publishers on mobile every day, with 1 million extra daily readers compared to the previous PAMCo data release in June.
This means that 40% of national news brands’ monthly audience are now reached by mobile every day.
Commenting on these latest figures, Newsworks CEO Jo Allan said: “Overall news brands continue to demonstrate impressive reach, but most significantly the growth of mobile audiences particularly reflects readers’ increasing demand for up-to-date, trusted journalism wherever they are.
