For the fourth year, the free-to-enter ‘Talent Trailblazer Award’ will spotlight companies whose initiatives and projects have helped attract talent that may not have thought the industry was for them
Examples might include, but are not limited to, apprenticeship schemes, school outreach programmes, partnership initiatives and social enterprise schemes.
Entries are open until Friday 31 July.
Marketing Week’s editor-in-chief Russell Parsons, says: “The industry needs to try harder to attract people who might not ordinarily consider marketing as a career.
“We’re now in the fourth year of the Talent Trailblazer Award and we remain as committed to doing what we can to help. This award will celebrate those leading the way and hopefully inspire others in the industry to act.”
Sharon Lloyd Barnes, commercial director of the Advertising Association, adds: “We are excited to be partnering again on the Talent Trailblazer Award.
“It’s always encouraging and so inspiring to learn what different businesses are doing to attract new talent – in the most innovative ways – to ensure we reach a broader range of people, who may not yet have considered advertising and marketing as a career. Roll on this year’s entries.”
