As part of Daily Mail’s Great British Spring Clean, Mail Metro Media recruited media agency contacts to ‘Clean up the Common’.
Earlier this year, Daily Mail announced its support for the country’s biggest-ever mass-action environmental campaign – the Great British Spring Clean, run by charity Keep Britain Tidy.
As of this week, the campaign has enlisted an incredible 532,500 volunteers, building on last year’s 370,000 and exceeding its target of half a million sign ups.
To encourage advertising partners to get involved in the Great British Spring Clean, Mail Metro Media recruited their media agency contacts to ‘Clean Up The Common’ yesterday (4 April 2019).
More than 50 #LitterHeroes across London were recruited to leave their media agencies early yesterday afternoon to meet their Mail Metro Media sales representatives at Clapham Common and take part in the hour-long event to help turn the tide on litter pollution and make Britain a better place to live.
To reward the media agency with best turnout for the event, Mail Metro Media is also donating £1,000 to that agency’s official chosen charity.
