For the first time, the weekend supplement features different covers as two of the country’s biggest teams go head to head.
As Liverpool and Tottenham headed into the final, half of Weekend readers saw Tottenham fan Destina Zenonos on the front and the other half Liverpool fan George Platt. Images were taken by photographer Craig Easton as part of a photo story on how superfans in Liverpool and London decorate their homes.
The Magazine featured interviews with fans to accompany Easton’s pictures and The Guardian columnists John Crace (Spurs) and Hannah Jane Parkinson (Liverpool) look back on a lifetime of hope, pain and glory.
