The diverse line-up of events includes the return of the news brand’s prestigious Evening Standard Theatre Awards
The programme of events is part of the publisher’s expanding live and virtual events business, ES LIVE. The team is dedicated to designing and delivering creative events supported by a wide range of clients including Netflix, UBER, TikTok and more.
The 2022 calendar builds on the success of this year’s events, which included the virtual London Rising series in association with Netflix and London Minds, a virtual mental health series working with Movember.
The plans also see the return of the Evening Standard Theatre Awards, on hiatus for two years due to the pandemic and the subsequent closure of theatres. Scheduled to take place in November 2022, the event will celebrate the brightest talent in the industry.
Charles Yardley, CEO of the Evening Standard, commented: “Since 2020, the LIVE team has pivoted to produce innovative virtual events which demonstrated the value of staying connected remotely.
“However, now we are able to gather people together in person, we are seizing the opportunity to bring together our audiences at live events designed to reconnect Londoners, spark ideas, showcase innovation and celebrate success.”
