‘Britain Talks’ is back!
Over the past three years, the Daily Mirror in partnership with the Daily Express have brought together 10,000 people for a chat.
This summer the project returns with the aim of encouraging people to step out of their covid-19 bubbles and get to know someone with a different world view, over a virtual cup of tea.
The project was originally inspired by Labour MP Jo Cox who sadly died in 2016 and who famously said that we have “more in common with each other than things that divide us”.
Explore some of the stories behind the people who have taken part here. These include a Brexiteer fisherman who meets a Syrian cheesemaker and a dairy farmer who speaks to a vegan campaigner.
To sign up, all you need to do is fill out this questionnaire.
