ESI Media announces a new chief executive.
In a media career spanning almost 20 years, Charles Yardley has worked as a senior executive across print, digital and commercial, both in the UK and internationally. He starts on 15th June.
Yardley joins the Evening Standard from Forbes where he was most recently SVP Managing Director of Europe. Prior to this, he was the Chief Operating Officer at London newspaper, City A.M. Yardley has accumulated nearly 14 years with the Forbes brand, where, as Managing Director of Europe, he oversaw the launch of ForbesLife.com, a global digital extension of the Forbes Life luxury lifestyle brand. He has managed and grown teams in Europe, U.S., and APAC for Forbes, establishing an international presence for the brand. Prior to those roles Yardley was Senior Sales Manager at the Financial Times.
