The marketing body for national news brands will take its Speakeasy to MAD//Fest’s first-ever event in Manchester to showcase the very best of cultural journalism
Over the last few years, Newsworks Speakeasy has become synonymous with MAD//Fest in London, and for the first time will feature in a prime spot in Manchester’s Aviva Studios for MAD//UpNorth.
Newsworks’ Speakeasy in Manchester will see top chefs and restaurant critics come together for a headline session with food and wine tasters galore, an all-important morning news conference to get the latest insight and behind-the-scenes gossip from local reporters, as well as a pub quiz to test your current affairs knowledge alongside a drink or two in the early evening.
As if that isn’t enough, a main stage slot will see Newsworks insight director Heather Dansie present key findings from Newsworks’ latest ‘Youth’ research, with an exclusive look at retail and customer journey data.
The two-day event on 26–27 February 2025 is set to bring together great marketing minds of the north to debate and discuss the key theme of “what set’s us apart”.
Newsworks has a number of golden tickets to give away. Look out for these, plus top speaker and agenda announcements in the new year.
