The first episode of the podcast’s second series, focussing on mental health and erectile dysfunction, has been released alongside a Boots campaign helping those affected find support
The campaign also features as a wrap on a story for the episode on Metro’s website, with the wrap pointing readers towards Boots’ online ‘Health Hub’
The weekly podcast series returns with Metro lifestyle editor Rachel Moss and guest hosts speaking to everyone from celebrities to shopkeepers about mental health, whether that’s to break stigma, provide hope and educate listeners.
Previous guests have included several high-profile mental health campaigners, including comedian Ruby Wax, Olympian Dame Kelly Holmes, rapper Professor Green and author Matt Haig.
Speaking about the new series, Moss said: “We can’t fix external stressors like NHS waiting times or the cost of living crisis, but we can share resources, listen to underrepresented voices, look for solutions and challenge the status quo.
“Mentally Yours is an extension of the agenda-setting conversations Metro.co.uk has led on this topic for years — and I’m extremely grateful to be part of it.”
