Newsworks tracks its Carbon Emissions across Scope 1,2&3 with the help of carbon specialists Green Element.
Newsworks’ environmental impact was 7.67 Tonnes of C02E tonnes of Greenhouse emissions in 2023 (0.67 per FTE).
Our aim is to continue our sustainable behaviour and maintain and further reduce our low footprint by 90% by 2050.
Some of our practices that we adhere to minimise our emissions include:
- Use of public transport when commuting and travelling as a business
- Minimising business travel where possible.
- 100% green electricity and gas within our building, and encouraging employees working from home to choose green power
- Purchasing long lifespan and second-hand electronic office supply equipment whenever possible.
