Taking place on 27 October at 1pm, the event will ask what journalists of all beats can do to move the dial on climate change
Chaired by the Mirror’s editor Alison Phillips alongside a global group of expert women journalists, the virtual talk will also launch a new series of interviews specially commissioned by Women in Journalism to give voices to women around the world most affected by climate change.
Phillips will be joined by The Guardian’s environment correspondent Fiona Harvey, climate editor for the Financial Times Emiliya Mychasuk, Fatima Arkin, a Philippines-based freelance environment journalist and Ugochi Anyaka Oluigbo, a Swiss-based reporter on climate change in Nigeria and globally.
