Targeting those giving Dry January a go after the festive period, the tactical ad shows how readers can enjoy an alcohol-free beer — without the beer.
Commenting on the winning ad, OMD UK client leadership business director Dan North said: “We’re delighted to have our BFY campaign recognised as Ad of the Month!
“The campaign plays with the tropes of alcohol-free beer ads whilst also supporting people in their healthy new year’s resolutions. Print was the only channel that could help us achieve relevant proximity to health-focused journalism but with eye-catching impact and national scale.”
OMD UK and Walkers’ campaign will go through to our ad of the year shortlist at the 2025 Newsworks Awards, when all our finalists will battle it out for the ultimate crown and a shiny trophy.
