The Times picks up Daily Newspaper of the Year and the Sunday Mirror takes home Sunday Newspaper of the Year.
The winners were announced at an awards ceremony at Stationers Hall on 1 May 2018, hosted by BBC newsreader Kate Silverton.
Scoop of the Year went to The Observer for its Cambridge Analytica exposé, led by journalist Carole Cadwalladr.
The investigation revealed that Cambridge Analytica gathered personal details of millions of Facebook-users and used them for political purposes. As a result, Mark Zuckerberg was called before Congress and Facebook lost more than $100 billion from its share price.
The Guardian’s Amelia Gentleman won Print Journalist of the Year for her involvement in exposing the Windrush immigration scandal.
Congratulations to all the winners and finalists!
