On Sunday 17 September at 2pm, the Guardian’s Pop Culture with Chanté Joseph podcast will be live and in-person for the very first time at the London Podcast Festival 2023.
Joseph will be in conversation with professional matchmaker, author, entrepreneur and television host Paul C Brunson, discussing dating, relationships, pop culture and more.
Together, the pair will take the audience behind the scenes with insights on the dynamics of TV dating, the key to a successful relationship, and the role that pop culture plays in our love lives – whether we like it or not….
Joseph said: “What is pop culture without a love or (loveless) story? All of the dating shows, advice columns and reddit threads show us we’re obsessed with dating and relationships, maybe too obsessed…. What’s needed in these conversations is a rational and objective voice to guide and inform our fixation on love so I’m beyond stoked to be talking this through with Paul.”
Brunson added: “The desire for love is a human need that plays a significant role in our lives and the world that we live in. Love, dating and relationships and how we build these connections continues to grow and change every year. I’m really looking forward to being part of the show and unpacking this further with Chanté.”
Tickets to the in-person live show are available for purchase now. If you want to join the conversation but can’t make it in-person tickets are also available to buy to watch the livestream.
