In the latest instalment of Newsworks’ politics roadshows, four top journalists will inspect last week’s Labour landslide and the Tory implosion
Taking place at Publicis Media on Wednesday 17 July, the session will feature journalist and commentator Alison Phillips in the host’s chair alongside The Telegraph’s executive editor Camilla Tominey, the Mirror’s associate editor Kevin Maguire and chief political commentator for the i, Kitty Donaldson.
The panel will rate the new prime minister’s report card after his first two weeks in office, debate whether Keir Starmer can succeed in his bid to ‘reset’ politics, as well as discuss the futures of a much-reduced Conservative Party and a revived Liberal Democrats.
The journalists will also cast their eyes beyond our shores, with expert analysis on French president Emmanuel Macron’s own electoral gamble and the fate of the US election after Joe Biden’s debate disaster.
