The virtual event applauded work done during these uniquely challenging times.
This week played host to two nights of Media Week Awards celebrations and our news brands picked up a number of awards.
Winning gold for ‘Media idea – £250k to £1m’ was Kia – Power to surprise by News UK.
Taking silver for ‘Media collaboration – Covid-19’ was “All in, all together” by British news brands, OmniGOV and UK Government – a fantastic achievement for the whole news industry, demonstrating what collaboration really can do.
Another team taking home silver was The Guardian for ‘Best use of audio’ with #whereyoushopmatters by Guardian Labs and Starcom. And lastly, awarded bronze for ‘Media innovation’ was Mantis: Using AI to Unlock and Industry Challenge by Reach Solutions.
The Ozone Project took home ‘Media brand of the year’ and the award for ‘Rising star – media owner’ went to Natasha Acquisto, senior partnerships strategist, Mail Metro Media.
