After 18 months of drastic change for the media industry and the world beyond, next week’s two-day Mediatel event will explore where we go from here
The event has dozens of speakers lined up from across the industry, including UM, OMD and Havas, as well as brands such as Tesco. A select group of industry leaders, including News UK’s group chief commercial officer Dominic Carter, has lent its expertise to curate a unique and business critical agenda.
The event will cover eight key future themes and trends for the media industry across publishing, TV, video, audio and OOH.
Join Mediatel News editor Omar Oakes at 4pm on Wednesday as his panel sits down to give unique insights on The Year Ahead. Oakes will be accompanied by media journalist Ian Burrell, Business Insider’s media and advertising editor Lara O’Reilly and Dominic Ponsford, media editor at New Statesman Media Group.
The panel will cover outstanding media leaders from the last 18 months, how media was a force for good during an extremely testing time in our country’s history and much more.
On Thursday at 12:40pm, Newsworks research and insight director Denise Turner will chair a panel dedicated to how publishing leaders are preparing for a digital future. The panel’s agenda includes how cookie depreciation impacts revenues and what opportunities exist to create better, contextual advertising in quality environments.
Turner will be joined by: Demi Abiola, business director at PHD Media; Forbes Europe’s managing director Alex Wood; Babs Kehinde, senior publishing, publisher development at PubMatic; and the7stars’ trading director, Michelle Sarpong.
