The publisher’s six-month pilot partnership with Ozone will bring online brands such as Mail Online, Metro.co.uk and inews.co.uk to the publisher platform
By offering a single point of access to highly engaged audiences, Ozone’s platform allows advertisers to work with premium publishers. While Mail Metro Media will continue to sell its premium, rich cross media audience targeted solutions directly to agencies and brands, Ozone complements this with programmatic enablement of scaled audiences, across their portfolio of premium websites.
Damon Reeve, Ozone’s CEO, said: “We talk about Ozone being a home for premium publishers of all sizes and guises, but few are more impressive in scale than the Mail Metro Media portfolio and we’re very excited to welcome their brands to commence this pilot.
“Their inclusion really reinforces Ozone’s mission of creating a more sustainable future for journalism by offering advertisers a really easy and effective way of reaching online audiences. While every partner signing is incredibly significant, welcoming Mail Metro Media is monumental for the growth of the premium publishing industry at large.”
Hannah Buitekant, managing director digital at Mail Metro Media, said: “We are excited to work with Ozone, further enabling programmatic advertisers to reach highly engaged audiences across recognised premium publishers, reinforcing the value premium publishers with editorial-led websites have over the rest of the open internet.”
The pilot will commence on 1 March 2023 and run for a minimum of six months.
