The event will encourage us all to stand ‘shoulder to shoulder’ and play our part in building a better industry.
Over the past weeks, Black Lives Matter protests have swept across the globe.
On 3 June, an open letter was published calling on advertisers to commit to “actions, not words” when tackling inequality and listing 10 actions that need to be taken by those who signed.
Within 48 hours, more than 200 agencies, trade bodies and media owners vowed to make a difference.
Delivering on that change is the next step. To do this, Mediatel will bring together key people from the industry on 14 July to debate the questions that need to be asked, discuss their answers and give a platform to diversity of opinion.
On the day, sessions include ‘Signed, Sealed…. Now Deliver: Why industry leaders must now deliver on their pledge’, ‘How should a brand celebrate Black History Month?’ and ‘It is not about culture fit – it is about culture add’.
There is an amazing line-up of speakers including Ellie Edwards Scott, Co-Founder, The Advisory Collective, Ete Davies, CEO (Creative), Engine and Ally Owen, Founder and Digital Fixer, Brixton Finishing School.
