Every week, we talk to a member of Team Nation to find out how they are bringing this “All in, all together” ad campaign to life. This week 10 questions with…meets News UK’s group head of project management Beth Harvey.
1. To me, the rainbow symbolises…
Unity. Something which I have felt throughout the partnership, working with all publishers to tackle something so big it can only be done when we all unite.
2. What is your role at Team Nation?
It’s a varied role, both working on the core project management team and at the same time supporting the client leads on a day-to-day basis to ensure the smooth running of this mammoth campaign. Together with the amazing Lucy and Ben, we oversee the content delivery for regional and national publishing teams from the briefing stage to final publication. This involves coordinating case studies, communications and sign-off between all publications and the client. I also work with the PR team at Newsworks to ensure they know which briefs are coming up and provide them with the right assets and overview of the branded content.
3. Have you ever worked on an advertising campaign of this scale before?
It’s a first to be working in collaboration with other publishers, delivering over 19 briefs in just three months. All with unprecedented turnaround times from brief to publication, as we respond to the events of the day.
4. What is it like working on a cross-industry team?
A career highlight, it’s great to be able to work with the best in the business, to be able to learn from them and work together to deliver something so unique.
5. What has been the highlight so far?
To be able to see the results from the effectiveness research – seeing how it is truly making an impact.
6. And any challenges you can share?
Time, time, time, we could always do with more time!
7. Think of three words that come to mind when you think of the campaign?
Collaborative, unprecedented and exciting.
8. What have you learnt?
Tons. How to be very agile in delivery, how quickly we really can deliver things and how working with other publishers with one common goal is good fun!
9. What can we expect to see next?
We have a few more weeks of sponsored stories to go and as the government brings in policy about how to do ‘Summer safely’, we can expect to be producing content around that.
10. Finish this sentence…
All in, all together for everyone and a brighter 2021.
